The Scent of Wisconsin

I was met at my mother-in -law's garage door with the thick scent of, "What is that smell? Oh, it's intense moisture!" In the face of the unknown, I ventured into the lane that leads to the forest and this is some of what I smelled/saw.
                                                          Can you smell the moisture?
                                                                  Only one tic!!

                                                         Garden, gardens everywhere!

Journey to the Winery 2

Next, a ride up to Stony Mesa Winery where we tasted the new variety of Rose of Syrah. Dry with just a hint of sweetness.
                                                            Stony Mesa Vineyard
                                                    Through the Grape Vine
I'm glad we stopped to see the Chapel of the Cross with its Goldenchain tree in full bloom.

Journey to the Winery

Today's ride/shoot/blog started at the Impressionz Art Coop Gallery where I volunteered for the day to help with the Celebrate Cedaredge festival. So many talented artists in a great variety of media.

Stop number 4 on the Cedaredge bike, shoot, blog extravaganza. The Inpressionz Art Coop Gallery where I have several of my photos exhibited.

Stop Number 2 on the Cedaredge bike ride.  Apple orchards that are an original component of Colorado's Western Slope.

First Stop: Grand Mesa Vista on a early summer morning, so lovely!

Journey #2: ride from the Cederedge Country Cabins to the Impressionz Art Co-op Gallery.  Start with the lovely Country Cabin #3.  It was build in the early 1900s, but is totally modernized; my kind of place: rustic look with conveniences.
